Happy Hillbilly

[Intro]
Oh, happy hillbilly, joy in my soul
Singing 'bout the love that makes me whole

[Verse 1]
In the morning sun, with the dew on the rise,
I pick up my banjo 'neath the bright, open skies.
With every strum, I feel the spirit draw near,
A melody lifts, washing away every fear.

[Chorus]
To be like Jesus, to be like Him,
It’s my desire, to shine from within.
The only Holy, the One and Only,
It’s my desire, to be like Him.

[Verse 2]
With my friends gathered ’round, laughter fills the air,
We’re sharing stories of love, showing we care.
Grace in every word, kindness in our song,
Together we sing, where the hearts all belong.

[Pre-Chorus]
When troubles come, I’ll stand with hope,
In faith, we rise, on His love we’ll cope.

[Chorus]
To be like Jesus, to be like Him,
It’s my desire, to shine from within.
The only Holy, the One and Only,
It’s my desire, to be like Him.

[Bridge]
Oh, hillbilly heart, let the love flow free,
With every little kindness, touch those in need.
We’re singing in harmony, lifting each other high,
In the joy of His spirit, together we’ll fly.

[Chorus]
To be like Jesus, to be like Him,
It’s my desire, to shine from within.
The only Holy, the One and Only,
It’s my desire, to be like Him.

[Outro]
Oh, happy hillbilly, let your spirit sing,
Sharing love and laughter, joy this day will bring.
In every note we play, and every word we say,
It’s my desire, to be like Him always.
